Our story
MOTORS began life as Motors.co.uk in 2007, created by the Daily Mail & General Trust to help car buyers find their perfect match.
Following rapid growth, the business was acquired by Cox Automotive in 2010, then later became part of Gumtree, before being acquired in 2021 by O3 Industries and Novum Capital.
In 2024, we entered an exciting new chapter: On June 28th, MOTORS proudly acquired the Cazoo brand — one of the UK’s most recognisable names — to launch an all-new, dealer-friendly used car marketplace across app and web.
Today, from our offices in Richmond, Surrey, and Abingdon, Oxfordshire, our team of over 250 talented people is driving the future of car buying and selling.
